Family Vacation

Well we really did it! We actually took a family vacation! It has been almost 8 yrs. since we took time to go away as a family. It was wonderful! We met up with Erica in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and then we went to Virginia Beach, and had a wonderful day there. The kids went boogie boarding. They had so much fun...Even George took to the water. It was a warm hazy day, but absolutely perfect to be on the beach. I had a bum foot, so I mostly sat and did the photography ( which I love to do anyhow).
While at the beach, some fins appeared, and although a few family members thought it was a shark, it turned out to be dolphins...it was so neat.
From there we went to Busch Gardens, where George, Erica, Sam and Hannah went on a roller coaster ride. It was the only ride that George went on that day. Erica being the brave one that she is went on what I would say a really scarey ride...she did that one alone. It was 105 out, so we decided to leave and try Water Country the next day if the weather was good...because we were actually suppose to head home that day. Water Country was wonderful. Even I went on one ride...(I fear water and speed) but it was great doing it with Hannah. I couldn't believe George, he went on so many water rides...and he loved it...it was so nice watching them have so much fun. Again, it was a wonderful time together. What a wonderful memory we made, and of course, I have lots and lots of pics.
Love to all.
